With the ability to hugely alter a motorcycle’s appearance and offer the experience of owning a high-end custom without the immense price or hassle, we’re huge fans of bolt-on kits. Unfortunately, it’s not all that often that we see these pop-up, so we were particularly delighted when discovering the new Rennstall Moto Co. kit that converts Triumph’s Speed Twin into a bonafide cafe racer.
The kit is comprised of a headlight shroud and a lowering kit for the stock LED beam, as well as a set of clip-ons and a modern take on a traditional cafe tail with angular lines and an incorporated mini number board. The collection of new parts wonderfully blends with the stock tank, which the kitted Speed Twin retains, and a custom a belly pan now cleanly rounds out the bottom of the parallel twin’s silhouette. Reinstall also blacked out a number of the modern-retro’s covers, and treated the 1,200cc mill to American-made Mat Tech mufflers on both sides of the bike that look to be mated to the stock headers and pipes.
