Over the past few years since their inception, the Boulder-bred brand Roofnest has become prominent in their space — and it’s a very particular space. Having delivered on incredibly-crafted rooftop tents since 2016, they’ve developed yet another grandiose offering for all those looking to get a little rugged out on the open road. Introducing their Condor Overland, the “toughest rooftop tent on the market” that’s made entirely out of aluminum and is capable of popping up in a minute’s time.
Roofnest gathered some of the bits and pieces of the materials and features that constructed the Colorado-based brand’s Falcon tent while conceiving the Condor, all while offering an immaculate amount of space and the compact compatibility of a standard foldout. As its name suggests, the Condor Overland is built for overlanding and equips a trio of transcendent features. With a roof and floor constructed from 1″-thick honeycomb aluminum and sides rounded out with extruded aluminum, this new release from Roofnest is unbelievably sturdy and will endure the most strenuous adventure. Similar to the Falcon Pro tent, its outer shell features a trio of accessory channels that now allow you to install a set of tent-mounted crossbars capable of carrying up to 100 pounds of gear when closed and 40 pounds when opened. While its foundation is as strong as imaginable, the interior is plush and homelike, as it opens up to measure 93″ long by 54″ wide, and even comes equipped with a 2.5″ mattress capable of housing up to a family of three — and even a dog! When closed, however, the Condor Overland remains compact at 60″ long, 54″ wide, and 10″ tall, all while weighing a slim 165 pounds.
Available now for $3,295, Roofnest is also offering a monthly installment option for the Condor Overland, accounting for those looking to get on the road before fully shelling out for a rad new tent.
