Victorinox’s Pro-Grade Titanium-Cased Dive Watch Delivers 300 Meters Of Water Resistance

High-end Swiss-made dive watches typically carry fairly exorbitant price tags, in many cases costing more than your average used car. Despite this reality, legendary Swiss brand Victorinox, maker of the original Swiss Army Knife, is making waves in the horological space by delivering the Dive Pro Automatic, a premium, high-performance dive watch loaded with top-shelf features —a titanium case, 300 meters of water resistance and Swiss manufacturing.

Victorinox’s Dive Pro Automatic is constructed around a 43mm case crafted from top-shelf titanium with a sandblasted finish. Clocking in at 14mm thick, the case features a screw-down titanium case-back and a screw-down 4 o’clock crown that help the case to achieve 300 meters of water resistance. The titanium case comes capped off with a unidirectional-rotating bezel that’s made from black-finished titanium and outfitted with a high-visibility twenty-minute time interval gradation. Paired with the titanium case is a waterproof 21mm orange rubber strap with a pin-buckle closure. The strap can quickly and easily be swapped out without requiring the use of any tools. Fortified beneath a sapphire crystal is a black dial with a day and date window at 3-o’clock, dual color Super-LumiNova® hour markers, and an eye-catching hand-set that features a lollipop-style seconds hand adorned in black and orange safety striping.

 Keeping this professional-grade dive watch ticking is a Swiss-made automatic movement with incredible levels of pressure and shock resistance. This meticulously-crafted auto movement also boasts a generous 38-hour power reserve. The whole thing tips the scales at just 3.7oz, too. ISO 6425-certified, the entire watch is also developed, engineered, manufactured, and tested completely in-house by Victorinox at the brand’s factory in Delémont, Switzerland. All in all, this watch not only performs incredibly well—lending itself to actual dive use rather than being a mere desk diver—but also affords some of the best value of any Swiss-made diver currently on the market.
