The M-65 Field Pants silhouette serves as the bottom half of the iconic WWII-era uniform, with the other top layer consisting of none other than an M-65 Field Jacket. With more and more brands taking inspiration from old-school fatigues, OUTLIER’s getting in on the action, too. The New York-bred technical clothier’s latest release in its Experiment line is the big city-appropriate Bombtwill Paragliders.
By taking the unmistakable garment and turning it on its head, OUTLIER approached the M-65 fatigues with the same sense of craftsmanship it does the rest of its Experiment line. Its newly-released Paragliders are crafted from Bombtwill fabric, an immensely rugged and comfortable material that utilizes two versions of sturdy Supplex yarns. This unique textile is made in Sweden through a lengthy process of spinning air-texturized nylon into each distinct strand of yarn.
A pair of double-stacked front pockets pave the way for easy access to your wallet and smartphone, but these can also be snapped shut to keep your gear well-protected. In addition to this, there are a pair of rear flap pockets for even more storage space. The Manhattan-made bottoms are rounded out with an adjustable side waist belt and 3Bar + paracord 550 adjustable leg openings, making for a versatile pair of pants that you can adjust to your liking.
OUTLIER’s Bombtwill Paragliders are priced at $333 on its website and are available now in both black and white colorways.
