As Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin (and a great many comment sections onYouTube) have thoroughly demonstrated, being the very first (or among the very first) to accomplish or acquire something carries a certain, special weight to it, and often comes with a sense of prestige and exclusivity. In response to the human drive to pioneer, a myriad of today’s most high-end automotive marques have developed a pattern of introducing novel models by first rolling out early-production First Edition, Founder Editor, and Launch Edition variants before regular production begins.
And after bringing out an Edition One of its then-all-new Sport SV model last year that was met with an incredibly warm reception that saw each unit snapped up. Range Rover has now opted to step up and fill the still-existing demand for the inaugural special edition with the debut of the new Range Rover Sport SV EDITION TWO.
Powertrain & Performance
Under the hood, the EDITION TWO packs a 4.4-liter MHEV V8 that’s been fitted with a twin-turbocharger setup that allows it to crank out 626hp and 553ft-lbs of torque. These power figures not only enable the SUV to clock 0-60mph runs in 3.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of 180mph, but they also make the Sport SV EDITION TWO the most powerful Range Rover of all time.
Exclusive Livery Options
The Sport SV EDITION TWO is being offered in four new curated variants. This includes a Northern Atlantic coast-inspired matte finish Blue Nebula model (seen here), a Ligurian Black Gloss version, a Marl Grey Gloss version, and a Sunrise Copper Satin spec. Each version comes with its own host of unique finishes and features, plus can be furthered optioned with other available amenities and upgrades.
Bodywork & Aero
The latest limited edition Range Rover Sport SV features an exclusive airflow‑enhanced design that includes an EDITION TWO-branded satin forged carbon front splitter, a carbon hood, satin forged carbon intake and grille surrounds, a satin forged carbon splitter, and satin forged carbon muffler tip covers. What’s more, the sporty SUV can also be optioned with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes — which sport calipers offered in half-a-dozen color options — and 23” carbon fiber wheels that allow the SUV to shed over 165lbs of unwanted weight. This satin-finished forged carbon body package is also a nice step up from its EDITION ONE predecessor’s woven carbon package.
Additional Odds & Ends
There are a handful of other details that further contribute to incredibly unique , exclusive, and high-performance nature of the Sport SV EDITION TWO. This includes a top-of-the-line sensory audio system and an advanced — and presumably rather tight — hydraulic interlinked 6D Dynamics suspension with pitch and roll control. This suspension has been tuned for more spirited on-road driving and set up to give the SUV a slammed low-to-the-ground stance that greatly improves handling. The limited edition SUV also comes standard‑fited with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires that boast a unique construction, tread pattern, and compound.
Kitted-Out Cabin
Offering a modern blend of comfort and state-of-the-art tech, the inside of the Sport SV EDITION TWO boasts a number of noteworthy details that all come as standard such as a carbon fiber trim package, heated and cooled, 16‑way adjustable, massaging, SV Performance Seats, matching rear seats, paddle shifters, exclusive branding on the carbon fiber center console, treadplates, and puddle lamps. The cabin is also trimmed in the buyer’s choice of either knitted textiles or rich Windsor leather.

The 2024 Range Rover Sport SV EDITION TWO will be available for order in the coming weeks. Thus far, there’s been no word on pricing or production numbers — though we imagine it will likely be similar to the 2023 model’s price and number of specimens, which were $181,775 and 675, respectively.
