BRABUS really likes to string together its releases. In the last week or so, we’ve already seen the German tuning outfit unveil its G-Wagen-based XLP 900 6×6 SuperBlack and another new Panerai Submersible Titanio collaboration. However, it behooves us to mention its latest unveiling, the 900 Rocket R — the brand’s take on the Porsche 911 Turbo S.

If you’ve followed any of BRABUS’ previous Rocket editions, you already know you’re in for a treat. However, with only 25 examples available, you’ll likely have to view it from the sidelines. Named after the amount of horsepower it puts out, the 900 Rocket R runs on a 3.8-liter flat-six engine with a pair of purpose-built high-performance turbochargers from BRABUS, enabling it to achieve the 900hp (up from 640), with 738lb.ft of torque (up from 590) and a 0-to-60 of 2.5 seconds. Even the top speed has been bested from 205 to 211mph. Helping out the powertrain, the body kit also makes plenty use of high-grade carbon fiber, which allows it to achieve a lightweight feel and optimal aerodynamics. Partially developed utilizing “state-of-the-art wind tunnel technology,” the BRABUS WIDESTAR bodywork implements the material in its rocker panels, rear diffuser, and lip spoiler.

Special air vents were designed to move heated air away from the Kevlar-lined wheel arches, which pairs with the air intake upgrades meant to cool the engine. Other updates include a brand-new bumper, front fascia, 22/21-inch BRABUS Monoblock P “Platinum Edition” forged wheels with carbon fiber aero discs, and a high-performance sports exhaust system made from cold-formed Inconel metal, which, paired with electronically controlled valves, offers quite the roar. As for the inside, BRABUS has paired the black Alcantara headliner with black leather seats, featuring the brand’s “Ellipse” quilting pattern.

No pricing has been made public so far, but expect it to be higher than the regular Porsche 911 Turbo S, which goes for around $230,000. If you’d like to be one of the lucky 25 people who get to own a 900 Rocket R, register your interest over at BRABUS’ website.
