If there ever were a time to invest in a luxury RV, now would be the time. The camping and glamping spaces are rife with innovation, an unforeseen byproduct of the Covid-19 pandemic. More than ever, people are finding ways to go off-grid without compromising on comfort or amenities. One company that epitomizes luxury camping is Bowlus, which offers a trio of zeppelin-style luxury camper trailers that have just been updated for 2022.
While the exteriors of the new campers are reminiscent of the first aluminum riveted travel trailer that Bowlus made nearly 90 years ago, their capabilities and amenities are modernized and tech-forward. The lineup, consisting of the Endless Highways, the Endless Highways Performance Edition, and the Terra Firma, feature subtle design tweaks, enhanced towing features, and updated interiors. From a design perspective, the Bowlus trailers all have new LED markers and tail lights along with the torsion axle system with easylube axle fittings. The big update for the Endless Highways models, however, is that they received the Smart Brake Controller and 60-second hitch connection that was previously exclusive to just the Terra Firma.
On the inside, the trailers are as gorgeous as ever. Users will still enjoy the benefits of heated floors, high-end water and heating systems, a two-burner Italian cooktop, and a master suite that can sleep four. A new feature is an improved layout of the kitchen doors, which now include larger, soft-close drawers to increase storage. Of course, the layouts are still fully customizable, with over 56 million combinations offered by Bowlus’ Bespoke Customization Programs.
The Terra Firma still stands as the top-of-the-line model in this impressive trio of campers, however, the new amenities for the Endless Highways are helping to close the gap. The Bowlus Endless Highways starts pricing at $215,000, the Endless Highways Performance Edition starts at $240,000, and the Terra Firma starts at $265,000.
