Between its aggressive power output and its dynamic driving qualities, BMW’s M5 has long reigned supreme in a market that’s crowded with plenty of other competitive sport sedans. However, German-based tuner Manhart isn’t one to settle, so they took the current F90 model and pushed it to the very limit.
What results is the MH5 800, a snarling monster of a car that eats other M5s for breakfast. Under the hood, Manhart has fitted it with a turbo performance kit, a carbon intake, and a remapped ECU, meaning the 4.4L twin-turbo V8 now produces some 815 horses and 774lb-ft of torque. What’s more, the car wears a set of race downpipes, a stainless steel silencer, and four carbon-coated tailpipes — in other words, the soundtrack is unmatched. And when it comes to the ride, Manhart has spared no expense, lowering the M5 on H&R springs and dressing it in some lightweight 21-inch alloy wheels. Shod in a carbon fiber body kit with a front spoiler, diffuser, and rear spoiler, it’s made only better by the red metallic color shift paint and the LEDs in the headliner.
