The art of beer brewing has evolved over the years to provide you with a slew of cold beverages to kick off the weekend or help you melt into your couch after a long day. Guinness is always stewing over new ways to bring novel flavors to your palette and their latest conception is a stout aged in Bulleit Bourbon barrels.

Guinness beer has been stored and shipped in barrels for nearly 200 years and their new brewery continues that tradition, maturing their brew in barrels for an ongoing release of barrel-aged beer. With access to an incredible supply of barrels from Bulleit Bourbon, Guinness has made their first barrel-aged beer at their new Baltimore location. The toffee and caramel flavors from the barrels balance out the bittersweet profile of the Antwerpen Stout. After eight months of aging in the Bulleit Bourbon barrels, the stout develops a rich oak taste to add to its bittersweet chocolate and aged fruit flavors. Guinness’ Bulleit Bourbon Barrel Stout has an ABV of 10% and will be available in limited supply until the end of the year.
