They say that “real” men wear pink. And while there’s some credence found in the meaning behind the sentiment, it’s totally understandable if many of you real men still wouldn’t rock the bold colorway. However, if you’ve been considering making the jump to pink, a nice compromise can be found in your wristwear. Tudor, just one day after the big announcement of their partnership with David Beckham’s soccer club Inter Miami, the Swiss brand has unveiled an unprecedented pink version of their famed Black Bay Chronograph.

If you’re excited about the bright new chrono, hold your horses: Tudor has stated that the watch won’t be offered as part of the brand’s permanent collection and will be released in small (unspecified) numbers. Until then, we can marvel at the new watch, from afar at least. Everything about the new watch is what you’d expect with your standard Black Bay Chrono. There’s the 41mm stainless steel case, the Caliber MT5813 automatic chronograph movement, the bicompax subdial setup, and the 200m of water resistance (the Black Bay is essentially a chrono diver).

The overall design language here is the exact same too. However, there’s the implementation of the pink colorway for the first time ever. Dominating the dial, the color is contrasted by the black chronograph registers, indices, dial text, and surrounding bezel, with white for the hands and hour markers, along with a tad bit of red for accenting, such as with the second hand tip. The watch is also affixed with the Rolex Jubilee-inspired five-link bracelet, which debuted a year ago (Tudor’s parent brand is Rolex).

Fortunately, if you do get your hands (or wrists) on this new Black Bay Chronograph in pink, it won’t necessarily break the bank. Penetrating the luxury range just a smidge, the timepiece will sport a $5,675 price tag. Head over to Tudor’s website to stay updated.
