CES wrapped up this last week, but there’s still plenty to talk about, especially when it comes to gaming. While there weren’t any major announcements from the major players like Sony or Microsoft, the retro gaming company MyArcade debuted another handheld Atari system, but this time with a twist: The Atari Gamestation Portable, a handheld that squeezes three classic Atari controllers into one device.

Equipped with a seven-inch high-resolution screen, this handheld may have a modern shape, but MyArcade has condensed three iconic Atari controllers into one device here. It comes with a keypad on the right, a paddle controller above the D-pad, and perhaps the most iconic inclusion, a Trak-Ball on the bottom left (perfect for playing Centipede). MyArcade has stated that the console is also officially licensed, so it’ll come ready to go with over 200 classic Atari titles (200+ according to the label), and the games list (along with more games) should be released soon. For the rest of the hardware, you get a rechargeable battery, two USB-C ports on the back, a kickstand, and LED backlights to illuminate whatever buttons you’re using.

Atari and MyArcade have linked up before, and we’ve already seen quite a few successful collabs (the Atari Pocket Player Pro is a great example), but this is the first release that takes aim at the Switch and Steam Deck, rather than taking inspiration from old school gear like arcade cabinets. While this release will likely be less high-tech than the other two systems, Atari games aren’t very complicated to run, and the inclusion of a high-res screen is nice.

There’s no official release date for the MyArcade Atari Gamestation Portable just yet, but it’s slated to drop later this year for $149, and you can keep your eyes peeled on MyArcade’s site for more info.
