Whether you’re a dedicated tech fan or a casual consumer, there’s no denying how quickly technology is advancing. There’s also no denying the fact that many of the latest products come at a premium, with a market that’s dominated by a handful of familiar names. The British consumer electronics company Nothing launched in 2020, and aimed to break into the scene with sleek, minimalist products like the Ear 1 and Phone 1. Just last month, in August, Nothing launched the CMF by Nothing sub-label (Colors, Materials, and Finishes) dedicated to budget-friendly products that are still high-quality and high-tech. And it’s clear they’re not wasting any time, as the label has announced the CMF Watch Pro and the CMF Buds Pro, and between the reasonable prices and impressive specs, it’s almost too good to be true.

U.S. Release Details

At the time of writing, there’s no official word on a release date for the CMF Watch Pro or the Buds Pro here in the States, but they’ll both be available in Nothing’s SoHo store in London on September 30th, so it’s safe to expect them within the next month.

The CMF Watch Pro has a sleek design reminiscent of the legendary Apple Watch, with specs that can easily go toe to toe with its contemporaries. The watch starts with a sturdy aluminum alloy frame, and it’s equipped with a 1.96” AMOLED display with 600+ nits of brightness and a 58 FPS refresh rate, with a variety of custom watch dials to choose from via CMF’s Watch app. The 340mAh battery provides up to 13 days of life with regular use (and an impressive 45 days in power-saving mode), and you’re getting a built-in GPS system to keep you oriented, but also track your workouts. Speaking of workouts, the watch comes with IP68 water resistance, heart rate, sleep, and stress monitors, and 110 sports modes. Closing it out, the watch is also capable of Bluetooth calls, with up to 18 hours of talk time, and utilizes AI to reduce ambient noise. The CMF Watch Pro starts at $69 and will be available starting September 30th.

The CMF Buds Pro are equally as impressive (especially for the price), offering 45 dB of hybrid active noise cancellation with a transparency mode, a super wide frequency range of 5000hz, and a whopping 39 hours of total playback with the charging case (not using ANC). 6 HD mics work alongside CMF’s Clear Voice Technology to provide crisp and clean call quality, and the precise diaphragm (made of liquid crystal polymer and polyurethane) gives you high-quality audio. There’s a 55mAh battery in each bud (with a 460mAh battery in the case), giving you 11 hours of listening time on a single charge, or 6.5 hours with ANC activated. You’re also getting IP54-rated resistance for workouts, along with Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair capabilities. Convenient touch controls allow you to make adjustments on the fly, and like the Watch Pro, these buds can connect to the label’s app for more customization options. Honestly, for fifty bucks, you’d be hard-pressed to find a comparable pair of earbuds that boast ANC, an impressive battery life, and this level of design quality. The CMF Buds Pro will be released on September 30th for $49.
