Bose Introduces its Second-Generation QuietComfort Earbuds

While Apple just unveiled its latest generation of the AirPods Pro, other tech companies have shown off their audial prowess for much longer, and Bose is the most important one. Moreover, the Boston-bred manufacturer’s updated Quiet Comfort Earbuds are here to outdo their bulkier predecessor.

Compositionally, Bose has streamlined the original look of the QC earbuds by a very noticeable margin, making the new release a much more comfortable spin on the original. And, of course, for each smaller pair of earphones, there is a smaller case to pack them up. Weighing a mere 0.25 ounces, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a lighter pair of traditional buds than these. Keep in mind that it has a battery life as high as six hours, but Bose makes up for it with what claims to be the “world’s best noise-cancellation.”

As far as sound goes, this is Bose, so you have no reason to question quality — better yet, you should be wondering how your music should truly sound. Thanks to the audio manufacturer’s signature CustomTune calibration mode, you can optimize its sound quality based on how it is the best fit for your ears. Additionally, the QuietComfort II buds will come equipped with Bose’s Fit Kit to ensure an optimized listening experience based on the size and shape of your ear. The kit includes a trio of ear tips and stability bands to provide a tight seal. This secure feel will play a vital role in the new release’s enhanced noise-canceling capabilities.

Bose’s latest buds are available to pre-order for $299 and will begin shipping on September 15.
