Few things are better than wearing items that are hand-made, and yet, with all the advancements in machinery and technology today, fewer and fewer companies make any of their products with their own bare mitts. On the other… hand… you have White’s, which has been making some of the finest boots in the industry the old-fashioned way since 1853, and they’re not stopping any time soon.
For its latest venture, White’s has partnered with Triple Aught Design for the new TAD Edition of the bootmaker’s famed Foreman Boot. Boasting the standard 6″ full-grain, water-resistant leather uppers and Vibram Christy crepe soles, this special edition has some new features as well, including gunmetal eyelets, gunmetal topstitching, and Lawson Equipment Technora Toughlaces. Standing at 6″ in height, the boots also sport a leather half slip and leather shank and feature the TAG logo on the outside quarter of both shoes.
Based out of Spokane, Washington, White’s has been a favorite of firefighters and lumber yard workers for over a century and a half. The company’s Foreman Boot, once made for the I-beams, is now a go-to for those who know a great boot should be worn on almost any occasion, from trekking through mud and snow to repainting the house.
Available in sizes 7 through 13, in D and EE widths, the White’s Foreman Boot TAD Edition is now being sold via Triple Aught Design’s online store for $550 until May 30. Production is slated to begin at the beginning of September, with shipments going out in October.
