Ten Thousand’s Tactical Pant Was Co-Created by Special Ops Members

Tactical apparel has been picking up steam in the mainstream as of late, but we still prefer to get our unfailing gear from brands that we know won’t compromise on quality or authenticity. One such brand is Ten Thousand. While they’re best known for recruiting athletes to test and help develop their athletic apparel, the brand has increasingly turned to battle-tested soldiers and veterans to do the same on their more hardcore collections. As a premier name in performance gear, Ten Thousand always crafts the toughest-wearing clothes around, but they’ve managed to outdo themselves this time thanks to an assist from U.S. Special Operations members.

The New York-based brand’s latest release is the Tactical Pant, an ultra-durable bottom layer that offers ideal performance in all situations. The rugged pants are composed of a durable 4-way stretch canvas fabric that affords tremendous mobility and has been tested to resist over 60,000 abrasians. For added flexibility, the pants include a knit gusset and knee darts, while a lay-flat waistband protects against any backpack chafe. The Tactical Pant also incorporates quick-dry and anti-odor tech, ensuring that you’ll really be able to put these through the wringer without looking, feeling, or smelling worse for wear. What’s more, these pants are built to withstand the elements thanks to their DWR water-repellent coating, and they include a bevy of pockets for additional utility — including a dedicated reinforced knife pocket. Finally, for added authenticity, these incredibly heavy-duty pants were tested by the likes of former Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, and Marine Raiders, so their durability should certainly live up to Ten Thousand’s lofty standards.

Currently available on Ten Thousand’s website in a quartet of subtle colors, the Tactical Pant retails for $128.
