Speedland’s SL:HSV Running Shoes Sit on a Grippy Michelin Rubber Outsole

Speedland is an up-and-coming brand whose portfolio consists of high-end trail running shoes, and its latest release is debatably more premier than any you’ll find on the common market. Working in collaboration with elite athlete Liz Canty, the label’s new SL:HSVs serve as a revamped rendition of its original shoes.

As one of the more unique footwear options we’ve seen hit the market in recent memory, Speedland’s latest release doubles as both a fashion statement and an immaculate pair of performance-geared shoes. For optimized performance, the shoes’ knit upper boasts Dyneema stitching and the brand’s trademark PerformFit Wrap, which is powered by BOA’s Li2 Fit System, pushing you forward with every stride you take. This latest form of garment engineering from BOA is equipped with anodized aluminum dials, paving the way for dual-direction action with a perfect fit.

Tacking on to this already-elite set of materials, the SL:HSV also features a removable carbon plate courtesy of Carbitex, as well as a Pebax CSF midsole, which is a form polyamide that is meant to enable incredible support and energy release while keeping things lightweight. The shoes also sit on a custom rubber outsole courtesy of none other than the Michelin man himself, assuring that the traction on these shoes might as well be parallel to that of the French manufacturer’s top-tier tires.

It’s safe to say you’ve never seen a pair of trail running shoes — or any shoes, for that matter — quite like this before. The Speeland SL:HSV shoes are available to pre-order now for $375 through the brand’s site.
