Much of Norse Projects‘ appeal stems from its minimalist design language, but its new collab adds a touch of art to the mix. Working alongside visual artist Geoff McFetridge for the second time, the Scandinavian clothier has unveiled an outdoors-inspired collection with no shortage of style attached.
While the Canadian artist’s work does adorn a good percentage of these new products, graphics don’t have to hinder innovation. Moreover, the new collection’s garments feature a handful of technical capabilities, with one example being 37.5 technology. This is showcased on the Joakim McTechridge short-sleeve shirt and is geared toward keeping the body at its ideal core temperature of 37.5°C (99.5°F), so you’ll never have to worry about getting too hot or cold in this unique top.
Other pieces in the collab include the Oliver Short and George Chino, the latter of which takes inspiration from timeless chino silhouettes and is made from Italian cotton twill, then finished off with illustrations on the interior and garment-dyed for a deep color. The capsule also features a pair of shorts made from the same cotton twill material, as well as two different stylish twill caps embellished with woven artwork from McFetridge.
