Despite being one of Great Britain’s most revered icons, James Bond hand-picked the all-American boots from Danner when roughing it in his previous two movies, 2015’s Spectre and 2021’s No Time To Die. Of course, the secret agent is a fictional character and it was likely the costume department that selected the footwear. Nevertheless, some important people saw these boots as a reasonable fit for a worldly figure who never goes anywhere unprepared. And for the audience, it made perfect sense.

Now, the legendary Pacific Northwest workboot maker has re-released two pairs of special-edition boots based on the ones donned by 007 in his most recent films – with a few changes from the initial debut. The first is a take on Danner’s Mountain Light II hiking boots worn by Daniel Craig as Bond in Spectre. Handmade in the brand’s Portland factory, they feature Vibram Kletterlift outsoles with Megagrip and GORE-TEX-lined uppers made from a single piece of Horween leather with the 007 logo on the tongue.

The second pair is based on Craig’s Danner Tanicus boots from his final outing as Bond in No Time To Die. Featuring GORE-TEX-lined suede and ballistic nylon uppers with the 007 logo on the heel (to go along with the one in the footbed), the tactical boots have Vibram outsoles with a custom pentagonal pattern.

Both the 007 Mountain Light II and 007 Tanicus 60th Anniversary boots will be available in limited quantities from Danner’s website on October 13 for $240 and $450, respectively.
