Carhartt WIP Puts a Spin on a Pair of Suicoke’s Most Popular Silhouettes

Suicoke’s catalog of open-toed shoes has been a talking point for years now, and it also makes for a perfect choice of summertime footwear. As a result, Carhartt WIP is harping on the hype with a stylish new joint effort.

The collaboration features a pair of redesigned Suicoke silhouettes in the Moto and the Depa, both of which garner inspiration from Carhartt WIP’s timeless Detroit Jacket and its timeless canvas-corduroy construction. We’ll start with the lightweight Moto, which is one of the Japanese shoemaker’s most popular options. In an effort to emulate the jacket, it features velcro fastenings on an upper composed of mixed materials, including Dearborn Canvas and smooth corduroy.

Moving onto the Depa-V2, it features a pair of velcro-fastening nylon straps finished off with neoprene and plastic details for additional stability. Then, the sandal is touched up with jacquard embellishments, chic tonal stitching, and a woven label. Each pair is available in two colorways: Hamilton Brown and black. Moreover, the Hamilton Brown-colored Detroit Jacket is easily one of the Michigan-bred sub-label’s most popular garments, so it’s no surprise that the sandals were rolled with the traditional palette for this collab.

If you’ve been meaning to buy a pair of perfect summer shoes, this joint effort couldn’t have come at a better time. The collaborative pairs of Suicoke sandals are available via Carhartt WIP’s online store starting from $242.
