Carhartt WIP’s Latest Converse Collab Dresses Up Two Pairs of Sneaker Staples

Carhartt WIP’s history with Converse is prevalent, having collaborated with the Nike subsidiary in the past. To no surprise, the Detroit brand’s streetwear-centric sub-label is tapping the world-famous shoemaker once again. This time around, the two are reimagining a pair of silhouettes in the CONS One Star Pro and Fastbreak Pro.

The joint effort comes to shape with the One Star Pro, now being highlighted by its classed-up composition. The iconic skating sneaker’s upper is composed of a buttery smooth blend of multi-tone-colored suede, leather, and canvas. Additional unique features include Carhartt’s emblematic ‘C’ logo taking over the first letter in Converse, which can be found on the tongue, insole, and aglets. Neutral colors are ideal to wear in the spring and summer, which makes this an ideal pair of shoes that are bound to match with anything in your warm-weather closet.

Moving on to the Fastbreak Pro, a pair of reimagined basketball shoes garnering a similar makeup to the One Star. Boasting a sturdy upper composed of the same materials that appear on the low tops, these subtle accents enhance both its court-appropriate looks and optimized skate elements, like CX cushioning, seamlessly representing the zeitgeist and ceaseless hype behind both skating and basketball shoes.

This stylish joint effort goes to show that anything Carhartt WIP touches often turns to gold. The CONS x Carhartt WIP One Star Pro and Fastbreak Pro will be available on March 31st for $100 and $110, respectively.
