When adidas launched its outdoor-focused TERREX sub-label back in 2011, it did so with full commitment to imbue each and every product with the same proclivity for style that its main apparel and accessories range had become known for. Fast-forward over a decade and TERREX has not only showcased some of the most stylish gear for the outdoors but has also been a breeding ground for mouth-watering collaborations, such as the one with Japan’s and wander, another fashion-forward outdoor brand. This year, the two have embarked on a multi-season collaboration, with pieces inspired by the human body, such as synapses and neurons, and views of the Earth from the universe. Now, the brands have collided yet again for their final collection.
Colliding for the last time this year, adidas TERREX and and wander find some middle ground between human neurons and the universe’s POV, unveiling several pieces inspired by natural elements around us, with colors and design cues redolent of the outdoors. Using the colorways Wonder Beige, Wonder Blue, and Artic Night, the gear displays shadows and orbital lines to match the theme. Aiming for pieces that can accompany you from the city to the mountain, the collection include shirts, jackets, pants, shoes, and bags.
Highlighting the collection is the new Free Hiker 2.0 variant, sporting a burgundy cotton canvas upper with black accents and a white BOOST midsole. Likewise, the new co-branded take on the AEROREADY Backpack is tremendously versatile, whether commuting or hiking, with plenty of storage, pockets big and small, and intuitive construction. There are also new versions of the XPLORIC mid-layer, pants, and long-sleeve shirt, with the XPLORIC jacket boasting some handy pocket options.
