This Mopar RHO Upgrade Package For the Ram 1500 Was Inspired By a One-Off SEMA Build

The annual SEMA Show routinely hosts some of the most noteworthy and elaborate custom car and truck builds on the planet. And after one of its SEMA builds generated an enormous amount of hype last year, the team at Mopar has now been prompted to develop a limited edition upgrade package for the Ram 1500 RHO that’s modeled directly after a 2024 SEMA truck.

SEMA-Derived Styling

Exclusively offered on the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, this limited edition upgrade package takes direct inspiration from the ‘Moparized’ Ram 1500 RHO that first broke cover at the SEMA Show in Vegas in 2024. Born out of the company’s factory-vehicle customization program, the outside of the truck comes cloaked in a custom Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat livery decked out in Mopar Blue and Grey bodyside graphics and numerous Mopar Omega M logos. The pickup has also been bestowed with a RamBar accessory bar, off-road style running boards, and Mopar Blue tow hooks fore and aft. The truck-bed has been hit with a black, Mopar spray-in textured bedliner, as well as a fully integrated, bed-mounted spare-tire carrier.

A Mopar-Designed Cabin

The interior of the Mopar-kitted truck gets a custom Mopar Blue serialized badge on the center console, extra interior lights, heated and ventilated 12-way power leather front seats with a massage function and embroidered logos, Medium Greystone contrast stitching, Graphite Metallic accents, a full-color, fully-configurable Head-up Display, a 10.25-inch passenger screen, and a 14.5-inch display central infotainment display — the latter of which is the largest reconfigurable touchscreen in its class.

Upgraded RHO Hardware

Up front is an independent front suspension system with Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks. Equipped with adaptive damping and a five-link coil system, the rear suspension also benefits from upgrades over the standard Ram 1500 that ultimately allow for up to 14” of rear axle travel. You also get upgraded upper and lower control arms and an additional 2-inch lift kit brings the truck’s clearance up to 11.8”. The Ram rides on 18-by-9-inch beadlock-capable wheels that come straight from the factory wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires. Opening up space for the larger tires and increased suspension travel are flared fenders at all four corners.

Six-Cylinders Of Fury

Under the hood is the new 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output Straight-Six Turbo engine. The blown six-banger has been tuned to make 540hp and 521ft-lbs of torque. The upgrade package also results in the pickup’s engine tipping the scales at 150lbs lighter than the standard Ram 1500, plus boasts a more balanced weight distribution. Thanks to the engine upgrades, the pickup is capable of clocking 0-60mph runs in just 4.6 seconds, and can complete quarter mile runs in just 13.1 seconds. The thing also tops out at 118mph.

Upgrade Kit Extras

Alongside the upgrade package, the price of the ’25 RHO kit comes with a personalized certificate of authenticity with a serialized vehicle-build number, a special 83-piece tool kit, and a special rendering of the vehicle from the Mopar design team, amongst several other minor odds and ends.

Straight From The Horse’s Mouth

“The inspiration for the new Mopar ’25 flows directly from the concept truck we showed at the SEMA Show last November, which generated strong positive feedback on how well the Ram 1500 RHO was ‘Moparized’ by our design team,” said Darren Bradshaw, senior vice president, Stellantis parts and services – North America. “We’re proud to continue our annual Mopar customization program with innovations and exclusive appearance features that our enthusiast customers and collectors crave.”

Why We Love It

For most automotive enthusiasts, the prospect of owning an actual factory-backed SEMA build is little more than a pipedream. Even if you’ve got deep enough pockets, getting your hands on one of these highly-coveted one-offs can be next-to-impossible. And this is what’s so attractive about this upgrade kit in our opinion. Sure, its increased performance capabilities and visual elements are cool, but our favorite part of this new limited edition offering is the mere fact that it essentially lets you acquire a SEMA build — or at least the next best thing. All things considered, this upgrade package actually offers pretty terrific bang-for-your-buck, with the entire turnkey vehicle being available for below the six-figure mark — a rarity for limited edition performance trucks.
