Aston Martin has technically been a motorcycle manufacturer since 2019. That’s when the British marque first partnered with Brough Superior, the reborn, Toulouse-based icon once hailed as the Rolls-Royce of Motorcycles. The two debuted the turbocharged AMB 001. The catch? Both that bike and the 225HP AMB 001 Pro that followed in 2022 were strictly built for the track.
Now, seven years into the partnership, the duo is giving the rest of us something to lust after with the AMB 002 Roadster, the first Aston Martin motorcycle ever built for public roads.
Hypercar Details, Minus Two Wheels
Draped almost entirely in sculpted carbon fiber, the AMB 002’s bodywork truly feels like an Aston Martin. The brand’s signature side strake has been reworked to pierce the fairing and wrap forward around the headlamp, while the twin oval exhausts borrow their ribbed heat sinks from the Vanquish, DB12 S, and DBX S.
Out back, the blade-style taillights are the same units found on the Vulcan, Valkyrie, and Valhalla hypercars. And there’s even a beautiful gold-finished cradle housing the headlamp.
Crescent-shaped gills carve into the flanks to keep the engine cool, while wire-thin mirror stalks, keyless start, and hand-crafted saddle leather seat pads round out the affair.
A Titanium Spine, Machined in Toulouse
Now, let’s talk about what’s underneath. Powering the AMB 002 is an all-new 1,083cc water-cooled V-twin that’s designed, machined, and assembled entirely in-house at Brough Superior’s Toulouse headquarters. Good for 130HP and 81 lb-ft of torque, the mill was specifically tuned for fat low and mid-range grunt rather than chasing a peak number.
That engine hangs from a structural titanium backbone milled from a single solid billet. The entire frame weighs just 11 pounds, helping the bike achieve a perfect 50:50 weight distribution at a featherweight 419 pounds all-in.
Ditching the Telescopic Fork
Rather than conventional forks, the AMB 002 employs Brough Superior’s double-wishbone Fior front suspension, which is an evolution of the setup developed for the AMB 001 Pro. By separating steering forces from braking forces, the design keeps front-end geometry locked in and resists diving under hard braking, even when leaned over mid-corner. It’s the kind of engineering you simply won’t find on anything mass-produced.

Aston Martin and Brough Superior are keeping the price close to the chest for now, but considering the track-only AMB 001 commanded €108,000 (roughly $120,000 at the time), expect this one to live deep in six-figure territory.
