Anyone who’s hunted or fished through a proper shoulder-season storm knows the trip is won or lost back at camp. Soaked boots, dripping waders, and a cabin that smells like wet dog for three days are simply part of the deal. SITKA Gear, the Bozeman outfit that created the technical hunting apparel category, has spent 20 years solving that problem with fabric.
And now, ahead of its anniversary, the brand is solving it with an entire dwelling, teaming up with Scout Campers on the limited-edition SITKA x Scout Camper.
Built Around Wet Gear
Instead of slapping a logo on the door and calling it a collab, the two brands redesigned the interior around what actually comes back to camp with you. A heated gear locker pulls warm cabin air through your boots, gloves, and layers overnight, so everything’s dry before first light.
There’s also a dedicated mud room that keeps filthy equipment quarantined from the living space and pulls double duty as an indoor shower. GORE-TEX interior fabrics round things out, which tracks, given that SITKA is owned by W.L. Gore itself.
Storage got the same treatment. MOLLE panels line the interior and exterior, while a rugged Zarges case-based mount keeps a bow or rifle protected without eating up floor space.
Camouflage That Isn’t for You
Then there’s the exterior, wrapped in an exclusive graphics package based on SITKA’s original Optifade Open Country pattern. Unlike traditional camo, Optifade is digitally engineered around animal vision, meaning this thing is dressed to disappear from an elk’s perspective, not yours.
Scout’s Flagship Underneath
All of it rides on Scout’s Olympic Hardwall, a wood-free composite camper with an aluminum exoskeleton that weighs 1,650 pounds as equipped here and drops into full-size half-ton trucks. Hand-built in Yakima, Washington, it’s rated for true four-season use.
The off-grid kit is stacked, too. A rear-mounted diesel heater, pre-wired Starlink Mini, Garmin PowerSwitch integration, and 360-degree Baja Designs lighting all come standard, and SITKA ambassador Connor Gabbott shook the whole package down across interior British Columbia before launch.

The SITKA x Scout Camper goes on sale September 9 at $55,000, which is more than double the $26,990 base Olympic, though every option is baked in and only 10 examples will ever be built for the U.S. and Canada.
