The Mercedes G63 AMG 6s6 is unequivocally one of the most capable and luxurious off-road-ready 4×4 models on the market, though the reality is that the vast majority of G63 6×6 owners spend very little time actually off-roading, making a slew of the model’s amenities and upgrades largely superfluous. Well aware of this, the team over at Classic Youngtimers set out to engineer their own interpretation of the ultimate luxury 6×6, bestowing the Mercedes-Benz X Class donor with a host of modifications to deliver a dirt-ready bruiser that’s still good for daily driving duties.
Known as the “BLACK EDITION,” this build series started by receiving a 4″ lift kit and pronounced fender flares front and aft, opening up space to accommodate a set of custom alloy wheels shod in massive all-terrain tires. Decorated in bespoke “6-Wheeler” badges inside and out, the build has also received a Mercedes GTR grille, a custom roll bar, an extended detachable diamond-plate-lined pickup bed, and an understated custom black leather interior. The Benz has also been treated to a handful of aftermarket parts from Poland’s Carlex Design. Powering the X 350D 6×6 is a 3.0L turbocharged V6 engine that puts down a healthy 254.4hp, too.
Currently showing 29,000km (or approximately 18,000 miles) on the odo, this Mercedes-Benz X 350D Six-Wheeler “BLACK EDITION” by Classic Youngtimers is available for purchase at the company’s headquarters in the Netherlands with an asking price of €115,289 (or roughly $130,000).
