Airstream’s Rangeline Is Its Most Affordable Class B Camper Yet

It’s nearly impossible to catch a glimpse of a silver Airstream trailer on the road without it evoking some sort of longing for traversing the highways and byways of our country. Few images spark the kind of nostalgia for Americana like the gleaming silhouettes from the Ohio-based RV brand, which is going on 100 years old. Until its first class B touring coach debuted in 1989, Aistream exclusively made either trailers or class A motorhomes. And then in 2004, it began basing its drivable, more practical RVs on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis.

From its Interstate 19, which starts at $200,681, to the luxurious Atlas at $289,911, Airstream’s touring coaches aren’t necessarily the affordable alternative you’d expect. But now you can have ultimate freedom and maneuverability at a lower price point. The Rangeline is the newest addition to the brand’s range of class B RVs and the first to utilize the chassis of a RAM ProMaster 3500. The 21-foot van is equipped with a pop-top for an additional sleeping space without losing the versatility that a zippy class B can provide you with.

With a 270Ah lithium-ion battery that offers more convenient off-the-grid living, the Rangeline also features a European-inspired interior with a wood aesthetic and attractive curvatures. The economic storage space includes inner-wall shelving, modular storage on the doors, a removable and expandable table, overhead cabinets, and dual swiveling cockpit seats. The dynamic kitchen area sports a refrigerator, hidable stovetop, sink, and microwave.

The Rangeline RV is available now for just $131,882, with a list of dealers available from Airstream’s website.
