There’s truly nothing like the Isle of Man TT race. Riders thread a 37.73-mile public-road course at speeds that would make a MotoGP rider sweat, and it just so happens that BMW holds the all-time lap record. So when the German marque builds a special edition to honor the event, we certainly pay attention.
Enter the new BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT, a 115-unit run timed to the 115th running of the race.

A Course That Builds Legends
BMW’s TT history runs deep. Georg Meier took the Senior class all the way back in 1939 on a supercharged R 255, and both Helmut Dähne and Hans-Otto Butenuth followed up with a 1,000cc Production class win on an R 90 S decades later in 1976.
As you may have guessed, the modern chapter belongs to the RR platform. Michael Dunlop broke through on the S 1000 RR back in 2014, Peter Hickman pulled off a hat-trick in 2022 across Superbike, Superstock, and Senior, and Davey Todd added yet another Superbike win in 2025.
And in 2023, Hickman set the outright Mountain Course record at an average of 136.358 mph on an M 1000 RR in Superstock spec.

British Racing Green, TT Deep Cuts
The paint is British Racing Green Uni Matt, which is a nod to motorsport tradition that lands particularly well on a sportbike. The real head turner though might be the graphics: actual Mountain Course sections mapped onto the fairings, with left-hand turns on the left side and right-hand turns on the right. Hairpins like Ramsey and landmarks like Kirk Michael get name-checked on the bodywork.

The aluminum tank gets a Satin Chrome finish with tape accents, while the carbon airbox cover carries a course map and TT logo under the clear coat. The Alcantara seat also hides a subtle embroidered TT logo on the tail.

The top yoke wears a milled, sequential build number, and yes, there’s even a certificate of authenticity to match.

All The M 1000 RR Greatest Hits
Mechanically, nothing’s been touched, and that’s a good thing. The M Competition base means you’re getting the same 999cc inline-four pumping out 205 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 83 lb-ft at 11,100 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox, an Akrapovič titanium exhaust, and carbon wheels.
Winglets generate roughly 50 pounds of downforce at 186 mph, the M-branded blue-anodized calipers handle the stopping, and claimed curb weight sits at 428 pounds. And top speed is still rated at 195 mph.
