First launched in 2005, the Ferrari XX Programme is a special R&D division that applies race-derived systems, components, and technologies to existing Prancing Horse models in order to deliver even quicker, more capable versions of the Italian brand’s supercars. Thus far, every XX model has been built for track-only use, though for the first time in the program’s 18-year history, it’s now revealed its first-ever road-legal addition to the XX Programme with the Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale.

Based on the existing SF90 Stradale model, this all-new road-legal track weapon features a slew of performance-focused upgrades to take the supercar’s on-track capabilities to the next level. Looking more like a Mansory or NOVITEC kit than it does a factory-built Ferrari, the SF90 XX Stradale sports an advanced aero kit that features a revised front splitter setup, new hood intakes, and flared fenders at all four corners — all of which are fitted with a trio of side louvers. Generating around 1,200lbs of downforce at speeds of just 155mph, this carbon construction aero kit also includes an oversized fixed dual-plane rear wing — making the SF90 XX Stradale the first road-legal Prancing Horse model to feature a fixed-wing since the F50 in 1995.

Powering the new XX model is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter 90° V8 paired with a 170-kW tri motor setup and an eight-speed F1-derived DCT transmission. Revving at up to 8,000rpm, this powertrain ultimately puts down 785hp and 593ft-lbs — a major boost over the non-XX-spec. Boasting a sub-3,500lb dry weight, the SF90 XX Stradale offers an approximately 200-mph top speed, a 0-60mph time of 2.3 seconds, and a 0-125mph time of just 6.5 seconds. Equipped with carbon fiber race seats, the interior of the supercar has also been revised for its XX variant. Other highlights on this street-legal XX model include top-of-the-line ABS EVO-equipped brakes, a model-exclusive livery, and XX-spec five-arm race wheels. Alongside the double-X-spec SF90 Srtradale, Ferrari is also producing a Spider version of the aero-kitted supercar.

Priced at €770,000 (~ $837,000), the 2024 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale supercar will be available for order in the coming months. The Spider version of the SF90 double-X has been priced starting from €850,000 (~ $924,000).
