Founded in 1980, Delta4x4 is a German aftermarket parts and accessories brand specializing in the off-road sector that designs and manufacturers a wide range of off-road-focused components and kits completely in-house. One of the company’s latest components is a lift kit for Porsche’s all-wheel-drive 911 Carrera 4S — a product Delta4x4 has opted to show off through the creation of a high-performance 992 safari build.
Born out of more than 18 months of labor, the 911 4S safari project is based on a 2020 model year donor and features what Delta4x4 is touting as the world’s first body-lift kit for the latest 911 4S — a state-of-the-art system developed in collaboration with both BILSTEIN and Eibach. Furthering the project’s off-road-readiness are flared fenders all around, a hood-mounted LED light pod from PIAA, Delta4x4’s own KlassikB modified beadlock wheels wrapped in beefy all-terrain tires, and a Front Runner roof rack accommodating a full-size spare, a shovel, a jack, a set of jerry cans, a recovery board, and a full-length LED light bar. Alongside custom “Delta” badges done up in the Stuttgart marque’s traditional script, the 911 4S has also received a custom white livery with electric blue, pink, and orange striping running the full length of the car.
The project previously made its public debut earlier this summer at the 2022 Abenteuer & Allrad event, and has since been put to good use, being hooned in the mud, dirt, and gravel in the Bavarian wildness near where Delta4x4 calls home.
