In just five short years, Keychron has become one of the leading brands in mechanical keyboards in the world. A favorite among gamers for its minimalist designs, the Hong Kong-based company is aiming to add yet a new device to its arsenal.
Keychron’s M3 Wireless Mouse — its first ever — is sure to be a new favorite in the tech space, not just for its already-proven performance but for its physical specs as well. Coming in at just 79g, it will add very little weight to your computer experience, whether working, gaming, or just browsing. The ergonomic design also comes equipped with two thumb buttons for added functionality. Likewise, you can personalize the mouse by choosing from 16 million different colors for the RGB light bar.
For a long time, wireless mice weren’t great for gaming, but in recent vintage, the latency levels have been on par with their wired counterparts. Despite its featherweight build, the M3 is constructed with a 3395 optical sensor chip — the chosen grade for competitive gamers — as well as a DPI up to 26,000 and IPS up to 650, with a 1,000Hz polling rate for minuscule latency. The mouse also uses type-C and type-A 2.4G for pairing with devices.
Supporting 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity, the M3 Wireless Mouse evades the need for wires altogether, although you can choose to equip one if you’d like, with an ultra-flex paracord cable in tow. More information is expected to come soon, with the launch date still yet to be announced. Head over to Keychron’s website to learn more.
