If you’re a tree tent enthusiast, you’re well aware of Tentsile, one of the above-ground camping industry’s leaders due to its versatile range and configuration options. Its flagship Stingray and Safari lines have just gotten a new add-on to make fall and winter camping even more comfortable.

Available by itself or with the brand’s Stack, Tentsile’s new Insulated Cabin is a refuge from the cold air outside. Designed to go underneath the Stingray tree tent for a treehouse-style camping experience, the Cabin can be used either on the ground with a Ground Conversion Kit or in the air, placed atop the Trillium hammock.

Made from 40D polyester on the outside and filled with 200g of hollow-fiber polyester insulation to keep you warm and dry, the Cabin also provides insulation to the underside of your tree tent for additional warmth. For storage on the inside, there are pockets in three corners as well as on the windows, and loft loops are provided for hanging lights. Likewise, the trio of double-layered windows can open to let in some fresh air and come equipped with a mesh layer to keep out the bugs.

The Insulated Cabin can be purchased for $999 by itself, but bundles are available as well on Tentsile’s website.
