Merrell’s Hydro Moc has captivated the masses over the past few years, serving as a versatile rising star in the world of predominant footwear designs. Now, the outdoor brand’s 1TRL imprint is doubling down with a line of innovative shoes taking after the beloved rubber-made stepper.

The modular Hydro Moc AT (short for all-terrain) line consists of three distinct options geared toward different environments, some being harsher than others, as Merrell 1TRL fuses weatherized materials with comfortable elements to ensure the ideal pair of shoes for an unpredictable forecast. This unique footwear system revolves around the standard AT, which takes after the traditional Hydro Moc. Its upper is constructed from porous but sturdy EVA foam, then placed atop the brand’s planet-friendly BLOOM foam midsole and finished with a toggle lace and rear sling the achieve the perfect fit.

While the introductory spin on the Hydro is cool, Merrell has unveiled a GORE-TEX crafted option ideal for frigid conditions and a ripstop option composed of over 75% recycled nylon. Starting with the pictured Neo GTX 1TRL, it boasts a Neoprene bootie engineered with a GORE-TEX membrane for optimized protection. Meanwhile, the Puff Mid 1TRL keeps you as warm as you’d hoped a pair of boots could, thanks to a 200g Primaloft synthetic insulated insert, paving the way for performance no matter where you find yourself this winter.

While the new collection will be available overseas starting November 16, Merrell 1TRL says it will hit the states this December. Find more information about the footwear system on the brand’s website.
