BioLite’s 800-Lumen HeadLamp Is Its Most Capable Model Yet

It’s been two years since BioLite debuted its first-ever Pro-level HeadLamp model, which put out 750 lumens while keeping your hands free for when you needed them the most, whether you’re rummaging through your trunk or heading out on a night hike.

Now, BioLite has just unveiled its latest HeadLamp 800 Pro, which upgrades the lumens to 800 and increases the throw from 130m to 135m without decreasing the burn time. Its 3,000 mAh lithium-ion battery will last you up to 7 hours on the highest brightness setting and up to 150 on the lowest, after which it can be recharged via micro USB. Compared to standard lamps that dim to preserve battery, the brand’s Pro series features Constant Mode, which gives you full brightness if you so choose.

Just like the 750, the 800 Pro has eight different lighting modes including red flood, white flood, burst, strobe, and several rear visibility options. Boasting an IPX4 weather-resistance rating, the HeadLamp utilizes the brand’s proprietary construction for maximum comfort, balanced weight distribution, and a low profile.

Available from BioLite’s website for $100, the HeadLamp 800 Pro is now arguably your best top-shelf option when it comes to illuminating the nighttime hands-free.
