adidas’ outdoor division in Terrex has constantly shown off its ability at crafting rugged, weather-ready pieces far from limited to footwear. However, the sub-label’s new pair of BOA-assisted hiking boots prove that the three stripes’ esteem lies in shoemaking.

While we’re used to seeing BOA’s innovative Fit System on premium trail running shoes, it’s great to see it appear on a pair of weather-ready stompers. For those unfamiliar, the BOA Fit System allows you to micro-adjust the feel of your footwear and paves the way for easy on-and-off adjustability. In addition to the adjustable fit system, adidas’ COLD.RDY tech and PrimaLoft insulation wrap the foot to lock in warmth.

Next, it’s placed atop the brand’s signature BOOST midsole cushions for optimized energy return and a Stealth winter grip compound, guaranteeing that it is ready to battle any rugged terrain that you may encounter this fall and winter. Lastly, to showcase Adidas’ strive towards sustainability, the new release’s COLD.RDY membrane is composed of 50% recycled polyester and is part of the brand’s parlay ocean plastic program, its mission to help end plastic waste.

adidas TERREX’s Conrad BOA RAIN.RDY Hiking Shoes are available in one color — Focus Olive — on the brand’s webshop for $275.
