Ford’s trucks have long been offered with available factory off-road kits such as the FX4 and Tremor packages. And after the success that the Blue Oval has seen with its pickup’s go-anywhere upgrade packages, the marque has now opted to bestow the same treatment upon its newly-released Bronco Sport with the Black Diamond Off-Road Package.

Offered on the Big Bend and Outer Banks variants of the Bronco Sport, the Black Diamond Off-Road Package affords the donor SUVs with a surprising level of go-anywhere capabilities — especially when considering the package’s price. Factory-produced and installed upgrades include a front metal skid plate, fuel tank protection, and a canister shield — all of which fully fortify the 4×4’s powertrain.

Replacing the Bronco Sport’s stock wheels is the package’s unique 17” carbonized gray low-gloss aluminum wheels that come shod in 28.5” 225/65R17 all-terrain tires. Further distinguishing the Black Diamond-kitted model from the regular Bronco Sport variants is a package-exclusive graphics kit that adorns the hood, doors, and lower body and features special badging and vintage Bronco logos. As per usual, the price of the package also includes factory installation. Best of all, the installation of this off-road kit doesn’t void the Bronco Sport’s factory warranty.

Available for order now, the Ford Bronco Sport Black Diamond Off-Road Package has been priced at $1,295 — plus the cost of the $30,930 Bronco Sport Big Bend or $34,450 Bronco Sport Outer Banks donor vehicle. What’s more, alongside rolling out this new off-road package, Ford has used the release to also announce that it’s expanding its Bronco Off-Roadeo Program.
