Chrome Industries is well known around here for crafting some of the toughest and most stylish backpacks and bags for everyday carry that you can find. Looking to bolster their collection, the brand has released two new additions to their rugged Barrage Collection in the Barrage Tote and Barrage Duffle.
Starting things off with the lesser of the two, the Barrage Tote provides a unique spin on Chrome’s flagship Barrage Backpack. With an unrolled height of 19.5″ and weight of 2.56 pounds, its fully welded waterproof liner and abrasion-resistant 1050D nylon shell combine to make one thoroughly durable gear-hauler. The new tote also comes equipped with a pair of water bottle pockets. On to the heftier piece, Chrome’s Barrage Duffle is practically a larger version of their tote, made of the same exact durable materials but equipped with an additional set of interior organization pockets that surely come in handy considering how often you may find yourself on the move. Weighing in at 3.62 pounds, the Duffle is a couple of inches shorter than the tote but is far wider, with a width of 20.5″ compared to 12.5″. And since both bags are part of the Barrage Collection, both feature the series’ trademark adjustable external 5-point cargo net system, enabling you to carry loads of gear outside your bags when needed.
Available for purchase today through Chrome Industries’ website, the Barrage Tote retails for $90 while its bolstered counterpart in the Barrage Duffle is up for $125.
