Bugatti is getting into the smartwatch game, and naturally, they’re setting out to make the most luxurious piece of wrist-worn tech in the world. The nascent brand Bugatti Smartwatches is premiering their first model, the Ceramique Edition One, and it certainly boasts some high-end specs.
The watches are made from over 1,000 individual parts and are handcrafted by actual watchmakers. The case and interchangeable bezel of the Bugatti Smartwatches Ceramique Edition One are CNC’d from highly scratch-resistant ceramic, which is then brushed and polished by laser. The watch’s display is an AMOLED touchscreen with a sapphire crystal, showcasing a blend of traditional luxury watchmaking materials with modern wearable technology. The watch is equipped with dual heart-rate sensors (Bugatti just loves to go above and beyond), along with an impressive 14-day battery life. The watch is water-resistant to a solid 100m, and it comes with both a titanium bracelet and a silicone strap. The features are what you’d expect from a smartwatch, with a step counter, GPS, smartphone integration, and the like, with the addition of a speed tracker feature that seems especially appropriate for Bugatti. The Bugatti Smartwatch is available in three variants and can be ordered now through Kickstarter for 899 euros (~$1,097).
