TAG Heuer’s Updated Smartwatch Has an OLED Display and All-Day Battery Life

TAG Heuer’s eclectic collection of handsome timepieces has been in production dating back to the mid-1800s when it was known as Heuer. However, that doesn’t mean it hasn’t segued into the modern-day by manufacturing some noteworthy smartwatches, too. Upon unveiling its ultra-sleek, fourth-generation Connected smartwatch, the Swiss brand looks to improve in just about every category on its high-tech wristwear.

The luxurious Connected Calibre E4 makes use of an improved form of Wear OS, Google’s patented smartwatch operating system, providing a much faster gadget that is rounded out by a handful of other notable features. Some of these include a gorgeous OLED panel, a whole day’s worth of battery life, and vastly improved sports tracking that includes up to five hours of golf assistance, so it’s a great choice if you ever find yourself out on the course.

While all of these specs are great, some will be even happier to know that while the gorgeous 45mm model is seeing a traditional makeover, a 42mm offering is making a return to this series, having been absent from the Connected’s preceding line. TAG Heuer states that this particular option was “built primarily for elegance,” and that is made clear by way of its upscale, streamlined design and subtler sizing. For an added touch, a wide array of straps are available for either size option you choose, be it leather, steel, or rubber, for a sportier feel. Lastly, the watches feature an entirely new charging tech that makes use of integrated magnets.

With all of these impressive new features and a handsome design to boot, it’s safe to say the iconic watchmakers are looking to up the ante quite a bit in the smartwatch space. The Connected Calibre E4 is currently available on TAG Heuer’s website starting from $1,800 for the 42mm option.
