Amidst an increasingly crowded world of watch-automobile partnerships, Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin have done their part to stand out from the pack with a handful of releases since joining forces back in 2021. From outrageous models, like the triple-bridge tourbillon with a skeletonized dial or the Laureato Chronograph that used materials from previous F1 cars, to the classy green ceramic Laureato dress watch, the brands always seem to push the needle forward, even if it’s just a little bit, and almost always find a way to incorporate the color green.
Now, back with their sixth watch together, the Swiss watchmaker and British auto marque have bested even themselves.

Why Green?
Since 1922, Aston Martin has been associated with the color green, stemming from drivers sporting their nation’s colors. That’s when the England-based automotive company decided to sport the British Racing Green, which itself stems from the Gordon Bennett Cup held in Ireland (which was part of the U.K. back then) where all British vehicles were colored in a shamrock green.
As part of its customization options, Aston Martin in 2025 has a whopping nine exclusive shades of green for vehicle exteriors (with “limitless options” available through their Q bespoke service). One of these shades is an iridescent green, which Girard-Perregaux has decided to tap for its new Laureato Chronograph.
This green color is used for the dial, in a meticulous process that involves a quoted 14 manufacturing steps. We see a lot of unique dials here in our industry but this iridescent green is one of the more remarkable, sure to pop on anyone wearing the watch.
As for the case, you get a grade 5 titanium material that truly pairs perfectly with the dial. The Aston Martin connection is found in their use of the metal in their Valkyrie hypercar. Featuring the same brushed and polished surfaces from the case, the bracelet is also made of titanium.

Business As Usual
Being a Laureato Chronograph, this watch features the same specs as others in the range, including 42mm case diameter, 12.6mm thickness, 100m of water resistance, and the in-house Caliber GP03300 automatic chronograph movement with triple-register functions and boasting 46 hours of power reserve. You can view the movement through the sapphire crystal caseback, which features Aston Martin’s logo metalized in the glass.
