There’s a reason audiophiles steer away from buying Bluetooth-compatible headphones: they simply don’t sound as good as wired. In an effort to deliver high-fidelity sound using Bluetooth, Nura has unveiled its latest pair of high-tech earbuds in the NuraTrue Pro, and they may just revolutionize the industry.

The NuraTrue Pro uses the audio manufacturer’s award-winning personalized sound tech, which provides an optimized listening experience based on your ability to perceive particular frequencies. It does so by measuring your hearing by way of extremely sensitive built-in microphones, ultimately creating a perfectly tuned and personalized EQ. Additionally, the brand has announced Nura ProEQ, which allows you to manually fine-tune when you see fit. Above all else, the buds utilize Qualcomm aptX Lossless tech, paving the way for CD-quality audio with no wires needed.

While playback quality is crystal clear, the same goes for phone calls, as NuraTrue Pro features an array of four microphones per earbud that pick up low-frequency content while shedding unwanted background noise. The active-and-adaptive noise-canceling buds boast spatial audio capabilities courtesy of Dirac, the Swedish sound engineer that implemented its sonic knowledge to provide an otherworldly soundscape. As far as battery life is concerned, the Qi-compatible device boasts 8 hours of playback on a single charge, and a full day’s worth of juice when utilizing the charging case.

The NuraTrue Pro has already shattered its Kickstarter goal by well over $1 million. Those interested in picking up a new pair of buds can do so by pledging a minimum of $219, and you can expect them to ship out in October.
