You may be familiar with BioLite’s unique catalog of solar gear and portable firepits — and in case you aren’t, now’s the best time to do so. The innovative brand has just unveiled its powerful BaseCharge Series, which provides home-grade energy anywhere you decide to take it.
Thanks to either iteration’s internal AC inverter, the two rechargeable power stations of the BaseCharge Series provide you with an array of wall outlets and DC ports at a 100-watt rating, capable of charging everything from laptops to TVs to even a refrigerator (on the larger model). They are each rounded out with an LCD dashboard that provides instant battery life specs and an energy odometer to inform owners of the nature of their energy consumption. Each device lives up to the modern-day tech standards to sweeten the deal, as the chargers’ top plate even serves as a wireless charging pad.
As far as differences between the two are concerned, the BaseCharge 1500 has up to 13.5 hours of charge-in time, while the lesser model has a maximum of 7 hours. The premium model also features a pair of additional outputs and over two times the battery capacity (1,521 Wh compared to 622Wh). On top of the pair of power stations, the innovative tech brand has unveiled the foldable SolarPanel 100, a 100-watt, IPX4-rated charging panel that can be paired with the 600 or 1500 to store power for later. It even comes equipped with a kickstand to help you find the perfect angle.
While there is no formal pricing information, BioLite’s BaseCharge series will be available for pre-order starting September 7.
