This Spooky Vans Collection Honors the Most Thrilling Flicks in Horror History

Well, the onset of October is already upon us, which means Spooky Season is almost here. In other words, it’s time to break out the pumpkins, hang up the cobwebs, and start buying candy in bulk. Of course, this also means that we’re bound to see some pretty ghoulish gear released over the next month, the first of which being this terrifying Warner Bros collab from Vans.

Dubbed the ‘Horror’ pack, it’s a drop that pays tribute to some of the most iconic films in the genre. So, in addition to Stephen King classics such as It and The Shining, Vans has also incorporated other momentous horror flicks like Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, The Exorcist, as well as The Lost Boys. Across the board, you’ll find some pretty thrilling sneakers and apparel, with both prints and patterns making up the designs. One pair of Slip-Ons, for instance, features the creepy Grady twins in full atop the toes. Another pair of Sk8-His, however, is considerably more subtle, clad in red and green stripes as an homage to Freddy Krueger’s sweater. Rounded out by backpacks, socks, and hats — all done up with frightening film references — this is one chilling collection that’s sure to spark some screams.

You’ll be able to buy the Vans x Horror pack when it lands on October 1st. In the meantime, you can sign up for release notifications over on the Vans website.
