Modern labels, like the New York City-based Todd Snyder, have been defining the next generation of the menswear industry with reimaginings of classic apparel and forward-thinking designs. Todd Snyder’s collaborations with American heritage brands have always been interesting, with notable releases alongside Champion (which the label partnered with in 2013) and Vans, for example. The label has also teamed up with New Balance on a sneaker and has multiple shoes with Converse. While TS has several shoe collaborations up its sleeve at this point, the brand hasn’t released its own pair of sneakers yet. Well, that’s all about to change in a few months when The Tuscan Court Shoe from Todd Snyder arrives, a pair of sneakers crafted in Italy with premium leather inspired by old-school sportswear.

Todd wanted to take his passion for classic basketball and tennis shoes and capture the charm of their old-school silhouettes. The Tuscan Court Shoe combines the best of Todd Snyder’s expertise in luxury products with the style and design of sneakers to make a gentlemanly pair of kicks with undeniable style. Inside, a cork footbed demonstrates this blend perfectly and works well with the leather construction on the outside.

Complementing the old-school style and setting the bar high, these shoes are made in Italy with Vachetta leather, a high-quality full-grain leather made of premium hides. You’re also getting Nubuck leather and suede to tie it all together. Todd Snyder regularly collaborates with local fabric artisans in different countries, and Italy has always been a favorite, making it the perfect source for the label’s first sneaker.

The Tuscan Court Shoe from Todd Snyder will be coming out on September 14th at 10 AM for $498, and you can get them in the Biscotti Cream or Grigio Gray colorways.
