Salomon Celebrates the XT-6’s 10th Anniversary with the Recut Pack

Take a walk outside, stay there for about fifteen minutes, and come back to say that you didn’t see at least one person wearing a pair of XT-6s. In the past few years, this has become impossible, and for good reason, as Salomon’s game-changing trainer has practically turned the fashion world on its head. As a result, the European performance brand is rehashing a trio of its most popular colorways to celebrate the silhouette’s 10th anniversary.

The three palettes that make up the Recut pack are a trio of modern-day, overnight classics, including the pictured Wren/Kangaroo/Vanilla Ice, the stark Beluga/Black, and the sleek Monument/Phantom. Unsurprisingly, each of these looks were swept off shelves and online retailers in a matter of no time upon their initial release.

The XT-6 serves as a major element of Salomon’s lifestyle-oriented catalog, proving that even as an outdoor brand, it can excel at making premium gear that looks as good as it operates. Functionally, the Recut Pack colorways retain every feature and benefit you expect with the standard pairs. These include a lightweight EVA cushion, lightweight feel, Mud Contagrip outsole with sharp lugs, and a breathable upper composed of single-layer mesh — you know, the more we mention how many elements help comprise this shoe, there’s no wonder why it remains so popular.

The XT-6 Recut Pack will be sold separately on Salomon’s webshop starting January 26 for $189, but expect to find them on participating retailers, as well.
