As two of the performance world’s most exemplary names, it’s refreshing to see Salomon and Ciele Athletics fusing their extensive athletic knowledge for high-quality products. Upon coming together for the first time, Ciele has thrown its unique touch onto some of Salomon’s top-tier running shoes.
The Canadian gear label has tacked on some eye-popping color palettes to a pair of the French outfit’s newest silhouettes in the Pulsar Trail Pro trail runners and Phantasm road runners. Starting with the above-pictured wine-and-black-colored Pulsar Trail Pro, they’re coated in Ciele’s signature zebra-print design to represent distance running at unrivaled speeds. As far as performance is concerned, these shoes feature springy Energy Surge foam and Energy Blade tech composed of TPU for boosted propulsion and cushioned response. The trail runners are rounded out with a Contagrip MA lug outsole for optimized grip.
Moving on the Phantasm road runners, these shoes boast an Energy Blade made of polyamide and glass fiber for rapid-fire toe-offs and boosted propulsion, in addition to the cushy Energy Surge foam, paving the way for smooth transitioning out on the open road. As far as the shoe’s upper is concerned, it’s crafted from Matryx, a premium, durable material that’s similar to mesh, making them remarkably breathable and light on the feet.
Going out for a morning run just got ten times more exciting thanks to these two shoes. The Salomon x Ciele Athletics Phantasm and Pulsar Trail Pro are expected to arrive this month, but in the meantime, Salomon is raffling off free pairs of both on its website.
