Reigning Champ likes to dip its stylish toes in many different sports, and its latest joint effort is sure to appease tennis players. In collaboration with Racquet, a quarterly tennis magazine, the Canadian athleisure label has put together a sleek collection that blends country club prep with stellar performance.
The capsule features a quartet of garments, including the Racquet Polo, Racquet Short, Racquet Relaxed Crewneck, and Racquet Cuffed Sweatpant. Seeing as this is a tennis collection, it’s only right to start with the ‘80s-inspired polo, which is engineered from a stretchy, breathable performance mesh. For an enhanced feel, it’s rounded out with metal snap buttons, semi-raglan sleeves, and a flatlock stitch to minimize chafing. Next in line are the shorts, which are crafted from the same next-level performance material as the top.
As for the cold weather-appropriate options, Reigning Champ took its beloved, cotton terry-crafted Relaxed Crewneck silhouette and embroidered a satin stitch logo acknowledging the joint effort. Lastly, the sweatpants have the same look and feel as the top, with a pair of jersey-lined pockets to store your gear. In addition to these new pieces, Reigning Champ is also selling monochromatic tennis balls, towels, and the 18th issue of Racquet Magazine alongside all these new releases.
This sleek collaboration is perfect for tennis players looking to beat the heat (and breeze) this summer. Reigning Champ’s joint effort with Racquet Magazine is available on the former’s site now starting from $115.
