Available in five versatile colors, the hooded sweatshirt is constructed using super-soft 18.5-micron merino wool (84%) that’s been blended with nylon (12%) for durability, shape retention, and resistance to shrinkage in the wash, as well as elastane (4%) for stretchiness. The fabric is also UPF-rated at 50+ for extra sun protection. Just a tad bit heavier and thicker than an average t-shirt, this hoodie is a fantastic choice for providing you with extra coverage on moderate temperature days but giving you extra warmth when the temperatures might drop, and without adding much weight in the process. And what’s more is this hoodie sports a versatile style that has applications off of the trail as well.
Other features on the sweatshirt include a curved bottom hem for extra style and thumb loops on the sleeves to prevent them from rolling up during your excursion. Also designed to wick away moisture, regulate temperatures, and resist odors, the hoodie is made with wool sourced from Australia, New Zealand, and Tasmania. Priced at $138, the PROOF 72-Hour Merino UPF Hoodie joins other members of the 72-Hour Collection, which includes travel pants, work pants, long-sleeve shirts, and t-shirts. It’s currently available from Huckberry in sizes small to XXL.
