While most Nike fans can come together over their love of Jordans, there’s no denying that most fans also have a particular model that they ride or die for, with plenty of memories to back it up. With nearly forty iterations, there’s no shortage of choices, but there are some clear frontrunners, particularly the first five silhouettes. However, even among these absolute legends, there are still some slept-on styles that don’t get as much as the AJ1, for example. The AJ5 is especially underrated, with somewhat of a cult following among sneakerheads, and now Nike is expanding its collection with the Air Jordan 5 Retro SE in this clean “Sail” colorway.

Nike is adding to its SE (special edition) series here with a super clean colorway, and up top, you’re getting a mix of real and synthetic leather with those classic lace locks, along with a meshy shoe cage. It’s finished with a rubber outsole, and that iconic zig-zag pattern on the midsole, and this particular silhouette will be arriving in the “Sail/Light Orewood Brown/Coconut Milk/Black,” using Sail as the base and Coconut Milk for the accents on the tongue, outsole, and mesh.

This drop is part of the handful of Jordan 5 releases slated to drop this year, meaning they’ll likely go fast once they drop over the weekend. The Jordan 5 continues to have a dedicated cult following, and with the limited amount of releases, the hype only seems to be increasing.

The Air Jordan 5 Retro SE will officially drop this Saturday, April 13th, at 7:00 AM PDT in the “Sail/Light Orewood Brown/Coconut Milk/Black” colorway we’ve featured here, and they’ll run you $210. You can create/sign in to your Nike Member account for a chance to buy the shoes the second they drop as well.
