Puffer jackets simply aren’t considered to be heritage pieces but seeing that this coat is built for durability, it certainly fits the description. Specifically designed for city life, the York is given a water-resistant waxed canvas that’s been lightly insulated with recycled Primaloft inside the ripstop nylon lining so you can easily layer this throughout the cold seasons.
Available in Dark Navy, Dark Olive, and Field Tan colorways, the York employs waxed cotton canvas from Halley Stevensons, which is an absolute legend in the field with over 150 years of existence out of their home in the U.K. Other details here include the soft-brush moleskin in the hand pockets for warmth, quilting on both the interior and exterior, snap tab adjusters at the waist and cuffs, a YKK zipper, insulation and additional support at the collar so it can be worn up to keep your neck warm, and an interior chest pocket. You can also re-wax the shell exterior over the years.
