In today’s clothing landscape, versatility is everything, especially with your trousers. No longer are we looking for individualized pants for each activity but perhaps a go-anywhere, do-anything pair that can take you from the office to the couch, and back out for a dinner for two. Flint and Tinder, which specializes in rugged yet comfortable clothing, has imbued its daily-driver 365 Pant collection with styles for any occasion.
Available in three different styles with four different fits, the 365 Pant is always made with a cotton (98%) and spandex (2%) blend that’s both comfortable and stretchy, but with the look and feel of classic pants. Our favorite style might be the standard Pant, which look and feel like jeans but with a twist. Available in HB Straight, HB Slim, HB Classic, and HB Athletic Tapered fits, the Pant is “suited for both work and play,” with a moderate 8-oz fabric that’s garment-dyed for longevity and comfort. Likewise, the five-pocket setup plays it old school with an additional coin pocket built in. Closed with a YKK zippered fly, the front also sports a classic button with an antique nickel finish.
Along with the Pant is the 365 Chino, a slightly elevated style for flex office attire, meaning you can easily keep these on when your day is done. Like your traditional chino, these feature angled pockets in the front, a more refined look, and a corozo button atop the YKK zipper on the fly. However, the spandex allows them to be much more flexible. We particularly love the soft twill herringbone pocketing made from a poly-cotton blend. These come in the same four fits as the Pant. Capping off the range, and available only in HB Classic, is the 365 Cargo, a military-inspired silhouette with high leg pockets and adjustable back waist tabs for honing your fit.
